Type of AMI Car Insurance Policies

AMI Insurance offer three types of car insurance policies to suit your needs. Whichever type of car insurance policy you choose, you will benefit from multiple policy discounts, no claims bonus, legal liability, and vehicle removal.

AMI Third Party Insurance:

Third party insurance will cover you if you have an accident and it’s your fault. This policy will pay up to $20 million for damage to someone else’s car or property. There is no cover for your vehicle in an accident where you are at fault. Learn more details about AMI third party insurance here.
Third Party cover may be a good option if your car is not particularly valuable, but you want to ensure you are protected against the financial impact of an unexpected accident where you are at fault.

AMI Third Party, Fire and Theft

Covers your vehicle if it is damaged by fire or stolen and also provides Third Party cover, in case you damage someone else’s vehicle or property.  This policy will pay up to $20 million for damage to someone else’s car or property if you have an accident and it’s your fault.
With AMI, you can also add optional cover for glass breakage, accidental death and medical expenses. AMI Comprehensive Car Insurance

AMI Comprehensive Car Insurance if you want peace of mind – knowing you and your car will be protected if the unforeseen happens. The policy provides comprehensive cover for accidents, theft, fire, vandalism and storm damage. Plus, cover for damage to someone else’s car or property.
The policy provides comprehensive cover up to $20 million for your legal liability if you have an accident and it’s your fault. You will also be covered for accidental loss or damage to your car, fire damage or theft.  If you’re away from home the policy also covers the cost of towing your car to a repairer or secure place, transport home or the removal of your vehicle from an accident.

  • Adjusting your excess level: choose the excess amount that’s right for you. Your premium are the amounts you pay regularly for your insurance based on things like age, gender, driving experience and the type of car you’re driving. Your excess is the one-off amount that you pay each time you make a claim. Increasing your excess will lower your premium.
